Leaning To Disconnect From It All
You can reconnect with your inner self through disconnecting. Something I believe many of us overlook. How do you learn to listen to your inner spirit if you aren’t connected to your inner self? These days, we are so connected to everything. With social media and every other app that wants to push notifications to you, there is a lot of digital noise. We’re all so reliant on technology that we rarely take a break. It’s difficult to avoid digital distractions when we spend hours surfing the internet or using our smartphone.
Take A Vacation
I remember going on vacation a few years back and accidentally forgetting to bring my tablet. Being an I.T Professional I felt the need to at least have a device and remain connected. Initially I panicked, knowing that I was going to be totally disconnected from the digital world. However I have to say it was the best outcome. I learned to rest, disconnect and take care of my well-being. I enjoyed my surroundings and actually had a great time “away from it all”.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, we’ve been going full throttle. We could all benefit from some digital unwinding. By simply filtering out the noise, you can increase your productivity and mental well-being. Get in touch with your inner spirit and live a happy life. Good luck, and all the best my friends!
You may not have time for an all-inclusive vacation or all of life's comforts, but that doesn't mean you can't prioritize your health. Do not let stress take hold, remember you can't pour water from an empty cup. Keep connected and take care of yourself first my friend.
